Tranquility Health, LLC combines my two master's degrees and over 13 years of extensive experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Given my diverse background in the Navy, Family Medicine, and Psychiatry I realize physical and mental health are innately intertwined. In 2019, I started working solely in mental health treating children and adults suffering with depression, anxiety and PTSD. i specialize in ADHD and women in mental health challenges co-occurring with peri and post menapause. Appointments are available both in-person and via a telemedicine platform called Doximity.
Types of care offered include:
1) Psychiatric medication management for children age 8 to adults in colloboration with patient's other providers or individual therapists when needed to coordinate treatment for a patient and families
2) Augment with psychotherapy using insight orientation, mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy
3) Offer non-invasive treatment options for anxiety and insomnia using devices such as an Alpha-Stim Modulator cleared by the FDA.

Appointments and Cancellations
Appointments can be made via the portal.
Follow-up appointments will be made at the end of each appointment.
Appointments are scheduled in advance, at a cadence we agree on, based on your goals, treatment needs, and our mutual availability. Payments for each appointment will be made through Headway by debit or credit card or ACH transfer. Self-pay rates vary based on time and medical complexity. For patients who are by choice transferring their care to Tranquility Health, LLC (Headway is the name of my billing company), to continue working with me can at request self-pay/sliding scale options but need to be discussed at least 48 business hours in advance (excludes weekends) before our first appointment at Tranquility Health, LLC.
You may cancel appointments in advance without charge if the clinic receives a notification 1 full business day in advance to allow someone else to be seen in their time slot. If an emergency occurs, late cancellation fees will be waived. For appointment no-shows, you will be charged a fee, and most pay the fee before being rescheduled.
Availability and After-Hours Emergencies
Providers check voicemail and portal messages during normal business hours. Messages left outside of normal hours of operation will be returned as quickly as possible in medical priority order. During busy times of the year, responses may take up to 48 business hours for response. If you feel your question or concern needs to be answered immediately, seek emergency care by calling 911 or go to the Emergency Room (ER) close to you for emergent care first. Then notify Tranquility Health of your ER visit or mental health admission.
If you are experiencing suicidal or homicidal thoughts, are in crisis, or need immediate help, please call 911 or go to the nearest ER for care.
Contacting Me
I am often not immediately available by telephone (office # 571-899-2464), but that does not mean I do not care or am non- responsive. I do not answer my phone when I am with clients. On evenings and weekends, I am checking messages (phone and portal), but not consistently. At these times, you may leave a message on the portal or my confidential voicemail. I will return your call as soon as possible once I’ve reviewed your chart, but it may take up to 48 business hours to respond to non-urgent matters. I will make every attempt to inform you in advance of planned absences. If I must change our appointment time due to an unforeseen conflict in my schedule, I will offer/open another time we mutually find convenient.
Discharge Process
There are several reasons why we may eventually end our professional relationship. You may decide you would prefer to work with a different provider. I may reach the conclusion you would be better served working with someone else. Regardless of the case, I will first discuss with you the reasons for discharge, and if you request, provide you with a list of other qualified providers. I will also extend the discharge length, if necessary, based on your treatment needs, including continuing to provide emergency support for a time-limited period after you have been notified of the end of our treatment relationship.
Please note that ongoing failure to pay for treatment, attend sessions, or communicate with me in a respectful and timely manner can also result in discharge from my practice. In these instances, to ensure you have continued access to care, I will still make every reasonable effort to get in touch with you and provide referrals to a new provider before I consider our relationship ended.
